When you walk into our house through the front door, you enter into the most pitiful entryway ever. The walls are blah and the floors are awful. Our goal is to have an entryway that is actually inviting and sets the tone for the rest of the house. So to accomplish this, we think wallpaper and a hardwood floor is the way to go.

As with every house project, we are full of ideas, but actually doing it is another story. So I’m not sure when we will get around to this, but I thought I should at least start shopping. We know we want to stick to neutral color tones and since it is such a small space, price isn’t too much of an issue. Here’s a few of our favorites.

Clockwise from top left: Muscat by MissPrint; Stone Trellis from the Banbury Collection by Cole & Son; Loops by Aimée Wilder; Leaves by MissPrint; Deco Damask from the Octave Collection by Cole & Son; Squiggle from the Vivienne Westwood Collection by Cole & Son

But our absolute favorite wallpaper is A Stone’s Throw Away. It was designed by Joy D. Cho of Oh Joy! for Hygge & West. The color is perfect. The size of the pattern is perfect. And, we agree on it. You can’t get much more perfect than that!
